More Info…

Effortlessly combining both modern and traditional, Tigh (meaning house, or home) Seonag is the perfect self-catering accommodation for a unique, luxurious break. It is one of our four cottages on the croft situated just outside of Elgol, Isle of Skye, which has belonged to six generations of Andrew’s family.

Tigh Seonag is named after Andrew’s grandmother. The stone used was given to us by Peter MacIntosh, nephew of Lachie MacIntosh, who is John MacIntosh’s youngest son. Tigh Seonag is a new site, and the stone came from an old byrne on the neighbouring croft. It is, however, believed that the stone had previously been used in the house in which Elgol school’s preacher had lived.
